Commission Quilts

Creating commissions quite often takes my artwork in new and challenging directions. Whether working from a photograph, recreating a previous work to fit a particular size or color scheme, or creating something completely new, I always feel compelled to create something special and unique for each client. 		"Pieces of Autumn" These landscapes were commissioned through an art consultant for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Chapel Hill, NC. Each quilted panel is 117" x 61" and now hang in the main lobby of the hospital. Pieces of Autumn is machine pieced with applique' overlay, fiber and lace embellishments, and free motion machine quilting
